Common questions about downloading and installing iRecord.

Is the trial version the full version?

Yes. The free 7-day trial is the complete version of iRecord — all features are unlocked. No features are hidden or disabled. After 7 days, you can purchase a license to continue.

Why must I run the installer as Administrator?

iRecord installs required system components (.NET Framework, database drivers) that require Administrator privileges. Without running as Administrator, the installation may be incomplete or fail.

Does iRecord work on Mac or Linux?

iRecord is a Windows-only desktop application. It is not currently available for Mac or Linux. It works on Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, and 11.

Do I need an internet connection to use iRecord?

No. iRecord is an offline desktop software. You only need internet for the initial download and for activating your license. Day-to-day usage does not require internet.

My antivirus blocked the installer. What should I do?

Some antivirus programs flag unknown installers. You can temporarily disable your antivirus during installation, then re-enable it. iRecord is safe software — it does not contain any malware.
